ONE LIFE TO LOVE ORPHANAGE FITOUT

In 2020, AWF Network Partner NBRS Architecture prepared a masterplan and concept design for a self-sustaining green campus for One Life to Love, an Indian / US NGO operating an orphanage, day care and education centre for abandoned and underprivileged children in New Delhi.
In 2023 One Life to Love sought AWF’s help to furnish & occupy the building they rent while fundraising for the purpose-built campus.
Building on the relationship they developed during the design of the green campus, NBRS Architecture composed an efficient and cost-effective interior fitout scheme that included affordable furniture, built-in furnishings, custom storage, and calming colour schemes.
Spatial adaptability and efficiency were critical, with spaces needing to serve multiple functions as classrooms, sleeping areas, play spaces and physical therapy areas.
