A new campus designed to connect socially isolated people and animals, where volunteers can engage, connect, and develop skills while training and socialising future Assistance Dogs.

AWF Network Partners AJC and Tract collaborated to develop a masterplan and concept designs for a combined campus in Sydney’s west for Assistance Dogs Australia and Happy Paws Happy Hearts, an Australian charity dedicated to connecting socially isolated people and animals.

“AWF's pro-bono engagement has been transformational for Happy Paws Happy Hearts — their expertise helped bring to life a landmark Western Sydney campus, in partnership with Assistance Dogs Australia.  It will be a welcoming space to support thousands of isolated Australians back to employment, education and independence.

With the exceptional quality accessed through AWF’s network partner support, Happy Paws Happy Hearts is turning a vision into reality. Importantly, the design made improvements which could save the construction phase millions in earthworks alone – all of this can be diverted back to social impact.  We honestly can’t express how thankful we are for AWF’s big-hearted work with us."
