Architects Without Frontiers (AWF) is a not-for-profit organisation striving to connect Australian design professionals with community groups in the Asia-Pacific region in need of pro-bono design services. In essence, our mission is to improve the living conditions of communities in need, with an emphasis on participatory, community-focussed and long-term sustainable design outcomes.

Since its inception in 2002, AWF has provided over 50 design proposals and delivered 34 built projects to vulnerable communities in 12 countries. These projects include schools, hospitals, orphanages and cultural centres.
